While Aldo Carbonaro, the Vice President of Bouygues SA (France) hears the serious claims from (and gets spanked by) Turkmenistan’s president, his son Laurent Carbonaro – racer –successfully made the construction of the Avaza national resort famous in the international sportdom.

To refresh the memory it should be noted that two cars decorated the national symbols of Turkmenistan and the ad of the Avaza national resort took part in European Monte Carlo rally. We were really excited and worrying about them, being hopeful of their success and it was worth of it indeed! Laurent, the son, put up a good show, unlike his father.

The good news came from France: Laurent’s crew has won the First National France Rally held as part of France Championship.
«Peugeot-307 WRC» decorated with Turkmen symbols lead the standings starting from the first special location showing the best laptime records in 10 runs. Basing on the results of all runs the French crew also succeeded in setting up the new records.

The second car, which also was decorated with national Turkmen symbols, gained success in this hot contest. «Mitsubishi Evolution» piloted by Laurent Carbonaro firmly got the 3rd Place in the “N” group.

Hearing such good news from France the one can proudly say: “What a guy! The real son of his father!”, but what can one say about Laurent’s results in Monte-Carlo Race (not in France, but in Monaco)? Honestly, we didn’t place many bets on him (it’s still his “first step”), but we kept our fingers crossed for them not to be at least the last ones! Evidently, the guys lived up to our hopes and, as Arslan reported:

“They failed and didn’t make it to finishing line, as the car was had broken”
