		<description>I have just come across your blog and was happy to read your post about the Oghuz Turks.

My blog is about the Turkmens of Iraq, who are the descendants of Oghuz Turks as you know.

The survival of the Iraqi Turkmen community is in danger in Iraq. Since the occupation of Iraq in March 2003 by the US-UK, the Kurds have invaded and installed their hegemony over the Turkmens’ ancestral lands, called TURKMENELI.

The Kurds want to incorporate the oil rich city of Kerkuk which is the capital city and main cultural center of the Turkmens to their autonomous region, against the will of the Turkmens and of the Arabs who inhabit the city.
