		<description>What seems most likely is that the journalist in question was thinking of the Islamic Party of Turkestan, an alternative name for the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan. A pretty sloppy mistake, though since the supposed organisation only gets one mention in the Independent article, you have to wonder why the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs have become so exercised about it. Probably because it's one bit of bad news that they can confidently deny; a rare scenario.</description>
